I was looking at the www.freshalloy.com site, and the new Altima will be coming out soon.... I am one of the ex-Nissan owners, and finally see some progress with Nissan... but too bad I am an Acura owner now....

But anyway.... I read the whole report, EXCLUDE the styling (which looks like a StarWar battleship), seems like its one good car with technology and engines.... This car will equip with either the new SER(2.5 180hps)motor, or the new 3.5V6 motor(240hps and 246lbs torque), which will be even more powerful than the Maxima, and the car is bigger too, also the only car in the class with Xenon light, just like those on the new Q45....

Ok, forget styling, and also many of yall will say "i ain't comparing an Acura to nissan, cuz they are cheap and bla bla bla", lets forget that for a moment... Seems like Nissan now into more performance than styling... Cuz with that 3.5motor, and 2900lbs car, seems like that thing will really run! TypeS guys, hold up ur fire about ur CLS will outrun this car.... Other than Altima, Maxima will get more power as well, and Infiniti will have I35 with 290hps... I think Acura need to come up with a new and more powerful motor to meet the competitors....

The new Infiniti I35 sedan has been introduced in New York auto show already, and it will carry a 3.5L VQ V6 engine producing 260hp. The exterior styling is pretty much the same as the current I30 sedan.

Former Nissan owner also. I like the changes in Nissan recently. Though I'm planning on getting the new Z, the Altima should really raise the bar in the class of car.

Holy crap--putting 240hp in the Altima is definately gonna get somebody killed!!

I just don't get it. I think the guys who work at Nissan are smokin' da silly weed--especially when you look at the styling of every single one of their cars--they all look the same with that rediculous front grill and god only knows waht else.
