Ok so this accident happened last March where my friend ran a red light making a left and hit the car coming at us. We were severely injured and notified the cops immediately and were taken to the ER. The next day my friend got a lawyer to defend me and recommended me to go to Chiropractor and I went for about 3 months since I was experiencing pain in my back. I had to take a month off of work and the lawyer told me to get proof from boss and I did.

Now the lawyer processed a claim through my insurance and I just got the paperwork from my insurance last month saying they have already started processing my claim.

For those of you have been in this situation any ideas from where this is going to go?

 

I would think you would use his insurance if he was driving.

 

I think his insurance is primary until the maximum amount is exhausted and then claims will be sent to your insurance company for payment. I think (not 100%) that's how it works. I would ask the lawyer to be 100%, not an Acura forum.
