Need Opinion on these New VOLKS *PICS*

These are the Volk GT-M's... I know, kinda similar to my J8's, but with more spokes..... What do you guys think? I can score an INCREDIBLE deal from one of my site sponsors on a set of the titanium gunmetal ones...

I know they're Volks, but you sure those aren't TOO heavy, because they look like the way 25-30 lbs. I terms of look, they remind me of the Advan Kreuzer Xs I wanted to put on my dad's TSX, but with a nice deep lip.

They look awesome though, especially on that 350GT

A lot of people over at g35driver have those rims. Only come as 19" rims (not sure of how wide) with +22 offset (jealous since Honda/Acura have ridiculously high offsets and little to no deep dish potential). I think they're hot. I'm more of a fan of the SF-Winnings ... (a la BBS style rims) but if you're getting a great deal, then I'd say go for it.

(I'm looking at my next car ... 2nd gen g35c ... so I'm checking out for Volk rims ... )

I'm probably going for the titanium gunmetal, I've already had the darker wheels.. would love to have a change.... specs: 19x9.5 +23 offset and 19x10.5 +21 offset, and I dont know about alot of ppl having these... they are fairly new from Volk. Deal wise? Probably $700-800 off a set of four from retail. As far as weight goes, dont have the specs...but they are forged, so can't be too bad.

Nice lip on them, I'd get it without a doubt if they were on a special deal.

Just like all the other GT-series wheels. The forged portion is only the rim. The center portion (the spokes) is still cast.

^ yep! absolutely right, glad they didn't cheap out on the outer rim, most important part to be forged imo.

You're right, Synth ... "a lot" is a relative thing. Compared to the SF-Challenges, etc ... the GT-Ms aren't as many out there. I guess since that community (V35) posts pics quite often, I assumed that there's several people with them. Wierd that they don't make that many options for the GT-M. Don't know if they come in the RBC (rays black chrome) finish ... that looks hot ...

Yes, they do come in the RBC... too flashy for me so I went with the titanium gunmetal. I'm probably going to have to roll the rear fender. My offsets are pretty aggressive. Tires sizes I'll be getting: 255/35 and 285/35.

Can't go wrong with the titanium finish, either. I also like the mercury silver finish on a lot of Volk rims as well (eg SF-Winnings would be what I would put on a G since I like the mesh look). Waiting for the pics of the final product ...

How is that expensive? Usually that exhaust doesn't sell for less than 1300 anywhere and is a 1800 exhaust to begin with. I consider myself lucky actually.
