i plan on retiring the TLS to the garage and getting a new car as soon as i decide what i want. (and whens its available)

i really like the new lexus IS but i want something higher performance and manual, has anyone heard anything about future IS models?

otherwise besides the IS i would be considering a e90 m3 or a used(02-03) m5

anyone have opinions or other models i mught look into, the m5 was one of my all time favorite cars but i'm not sure if i would be happy with a out of date car...i'm hoping the new m3 will be nice and also hoping on a faster IS...also was thinking aobut a sports car (zo6, nsx, ect) but i think i might prefer soemthing more lux...

any suggestions wouldbe helpful

 

Hmmmmmmm,...I personally like the M5 for the years you were thinking of. If you are worried about it being old, maybe wait to see what the new M3 will have,....dunno when that will be, but its supposed to have a V8 in it with like 400hp. Cant really think of anything else with a manual that has the power and lux you want. Mercedes SLK maybe,......forget if the AMG one comes with the manual or not. I really like the NSX too. I guess I have not helped you at all,......LOL.

 

The Car Connection recently has a small blurb indicating that Lexus trademarked the IS460 name. So, there just may be a 4.6L V8 powered IS in the near future. And I would imagine it'd be more powerful than the 306hp 3.5L V6 in the IS350.
