is it one of those where "I moved and it's too expensive to register the car" or "I need the money fast so I can make a deposit" type pleas? I just got one for this scion TC and the guy is in switzerland and he wants like 6K for it, also before that one i got another one for a TL for 3 grand, all the same lines lines like "I need money fast for a quick deposit on my house" or etc.

The advice that has been given to me is if i cant drive it before i buy it, then don't buy it.

Also from what I've read on the internet is that some of these car scams are ran through escrow and other foriegn wire transfer services.

Whats the point...you know how many of those are listed a day?

I bet if you click on the same craigslist link it say the listing has been flagged down by users.

In the future, typically an escrow service is used for the deposit. NEVER send a deposit outside of the escrow service if you are using one for a transaction.
