Today's was my brother's first day of school and he left his headlights on all day long. When he comes out the car won't start. He said the clock and interior lights were working. I came to school to jump him and as soon as i hooked up the cables the car horn goes off...quiet at first the ramps up. The car still won't start. Every time the cables were on the battery the horn would go off. My dad bought a new battery and it still won't start. What is going on?

 

Does he have an alarm system? Sounds like the alarm thinks it's being stolen. Starter kill maybe?

When you say "won't start" do you mean it cranks but won't start or won't turn over at all?

 

Doesn't crank. It is a special edition so i don't know if it has an alarm. Had to leave it at school over night.
