BMW quad bike hits 106mph

Here is proof positive that the Swiss know how to have a good time, in a thoroughly sensible and responsible way, of course.

The curiously named company Gruter and Gut, better known as GG, has turned a BMW motorcycle into the mother-of-all quad bikes.

Called the GG Quad, this oddball bike comes with a 90bhp, 1100cc flat-twin engine and manages 106mph.

It tips the scales at a well-fed 375kg, but thanks to four wheels, it's unlikely that owners will ever need to pick it up, unlike a normal motorcycle.

All of this Swiss weirdness does not come cheap and you'll be looking at a price tag of around £25,000 for a GG Quad built to your own specification. But, hey, you'll be laughing all the way home.

i think i'm the only person who lives where I do without a quad, snowmobile, rhino, golf cart, moto cross bike, mini bike, etc. its like the x-games out here everyday with these kids and their toys.
