My Uncle's Lincoln Blackwood

So my Uncle just took over the lease of his friends Lincoln Blackwood for the last couple months because he need a vehicle. He brought it in to the dealership for 30,000 mile service. When he picked up the car he said it was driving funny and it was making a weird noise. The dealership isn't to far from his home so he got it home safely and dropped it off. Him and my aunt had to run some errands and he had a weird feeling and told my aunt they better take her bimmer. Later that night he took the Blackwood to the gym and it was still driving funny. He pulled off to the side off the road and called AAA and discovered that the damn dealership didnt put all the lugs back on one of the wheels and didnt tighten the rest. He is damn lucky that nothing happen to him.

Last year my buddies and I were standing in front of out fraternity house when an eclipse comes driving by. The second the car was directly infront of our house the front wheel flew off almost hitting a few of my brothers. Sparks everywhere the rotors and body kit on that eclipse were fucked up! The kid luckily was fine. He said he had brought the car into a "Tires Plus" for them to check out his breaks....mother fuckers didnt tighten his lugs either....

Anyone else ever hear anything like this??

Sorry for the long post.

Cliff Notes:
-Uncle brings Lincoln Blackwood to dealer for service
-picks it up and it drives funny and makes weird noises
- later realizes dealership left of some lug nuts from his wheels and left the others loose.

Yup - my buddy lost one of the front wheels on his wrangler taking a turn on a street in my town. At least his plow frame took a good deal of the weight.

I always check my lugs if someone else takes a tire off.

I remember seeing a suburban with some 96 inch blingers on it pulled off the side of I-20. As I passed I learned that one wheel thought "I'm, too sexy for this truck" at decided to jump ship.

I saw a 1970's Buick with 6 Mexicans take a corner too fast, the driver's side front wheel come off and the car go plowing into a fence. No injuries thankfully.

I was too dumbfounded by that incident to laugh until about 15 minutes later.

My brother was driving down the freeway in his friend's Bronco (they were taking turns driving) and the front wheel fell off going 70. He was actually able to keep that deathtrap under control and got it to a stop. Another motorist stopped to see if everyone was ok and to tell my brother that was the best emergency driving he'd ever seen.

Didn't the Escalade EXT do ok? Maybe they're trying to take those sales?
