and I agree, if it is frame damaged and cannot be replaced with a new peice, then I would certainly not want her driving around in it any longer.

in all honesty, the damage isn't that bad. They cut out the well and put a new one in place. It may be totalled, it may not, it really depends on the insurance company and how much they think the car is worth. If this damage was to a new car.....they would not total it
This is based on the fact there is no frame damage, and in all honesty I don't think there is. The car did exactly what it is suppose to do in an accident, and that is crumble.
