Its pretty much impossible to mount a j series engine into a civic or integra without cutting the hood.

Even with the new hasport mounts, the engine is soo much lower than the body of the car, its more practical to just have a hood cutout.

i've seen a few j swaps done clean.. some guys got hoods to close iirc

but im not sure of what all needs to be done in order for this to work.

youre right though, most end up like this.

That spacer makes the mani so much taller. If I were to put the J in a civic, I would place the block in the backseat of the car.

Is force induction in your plans or are you keeping it NA?

What are you going to do for the suspension?

I want to do turbo but we gotta see how to run all the piping and where to put the turbo.

Suspension wise it has Apexi N1 coilovers, front and rear camber kits, traction bars, rear lower control arms and a rear upper and lower tie bar.

i've seen a v6 swapped 4th gen... but no 5th gens..

aftermarket support for the prelude is SHOT.. i wouldnt expect things to happen with them in the future either.

This is unbelievable! Well done. Please update with next stages of completion. I'm planning on running this kind of setup with a mid-engine RWD 92-95 coupe one day =D. I like to see a little ambition.

Congrats on the pickup!

I like to think of this as an engine that has a car attached to it, rather than the other way around.

Any plans to fix the hood?
