My new (old) motorcycle

I have had this motorcycle since '94. I bought it for 800 bucks ... rode it for two summers and parked it. And it has been collecting dust since then. I don't know what happened but i couldn't resist it anymore and i just dropped almost 2K to get it running again. I know it is a waste of money but this is the first vehicle i ever bought, so it has some sentimental value.
It's a 1984 GPz750A2, the predacessor to the Ninja. It is OLD, but it's still fun as hell.
It's enough to keep me smiling from ear to ear.
Sorry about the shitty pic, but that's all i had right now. Will post up better pics later.
Oh, it only has 7000 miles on it!!

it was everything from tires to battery .... actually the parts were only 600 sum dollars. It is the labor....but, i was to lazy to do it myself.

gotcha. labor is expensive for that sorta thing.

i answered my own question about the bike in top gun too...tom rode a 84 or 85 kaw. gpz 900 which looks pretty similar to yours; diff engine obviously. i wanted that bike BAD after seeing that movie....and kelly mcgillis too...

would gpz 900 lower fairings fit on that?

I don't think so. I have been looking for them, though. Not a lot of parts easily available for this thing I found a company that manufactures them if I want. But, no more spending money for now. The 2K is still stinging.
