Looking good... congrats! So what is your take on the AWD in the snow? Is it still mainly RWD with power applied to the fronts as required or is it more full-time AWD? Nice car!

The way the Altessa AWD system works in my car is that it is Fulltime AWD below 18MPH. Once I go over 18MPH it is 100% RWD. If my wheels start to slip above 18MPH then the AWD system kicks in until the slipping has stopped and goes back to RWD. Awesome system if you ask me since I get both AWD stability at lower speeds with RWD performance and handling at higher speeds (unless of course the system senses wheel slip)

Its only snowed once so far since i've had the car, about 4 inches. It was great! The handling blew me away vs. my old FWD CL. I was very impressed.

A few little updates
I've installed Nokya Yellow Fog Bulbs. Not sure if I like them yet, but it is growing on me. I may just install a 3000k HID Kit eventually

Once thing I don't like about this car is the location of the Fogs
Also, if you remember earlier in the thread regarding the hidden k40 Radar detector I had found in my car, I decided to fabricate some some black covers to put over the notification LED's so that I could see them better and for them to be not so obvious from the outside of the car for obvious reasons .
I lined the inside with very shiny aluminum tape/paper for reflectivity and dremeled the rest into the shape I wanted. They were two small black caps that I found in a junk drawer that I honestly forgot what they were for, but worked perfectly for my needs. Not bad for a free mod.

I parked in an area near my house that always sets them off
Enjoy

The tint looks fantastic. 35% is perfect, IMO. Clean G man.
This is random, but do you ever wish your car wasn't black? I ask because it looks super clean in these pictures. I feel like I'd have anxiety over keeping it looking nice. Dirt, swirls, water marks, etc.

I you wash your car yourself, properly, it's easy to keep clean. Swirls happen but it's nothing a PC and some good polish can't take care of from time to time.

It is more upkeep but worth it when clean and shiny. I came from a silver Acura CL and didn't have to wash it nearly as much as this car. I wash this car on average about once a week and wipe it down in between with quick detail spray and clean terry cloth I keep in the trunk when it gets dusty.
It's a little bit more work but I don't mind.

Small update
I was cruising Craigslist and came across a smoking deal for a set of 18" sport wheels.
Guy had no space in his apartment for them after upgrading his wheels and wanted just $500 for all 4. They are in pristine condition! No curbage and the potenzas have about 70% tread left on them.
These look was better than my old 17's IMO. Now I need a buyer for my old wheels lol.
What do you all think?

Professionally Detailed
So my paint was looking real tired, scratches all over and really dull looking. I decided to bite the bullet and get a real professional detailing (inside and out) for the first time. I can't believe how my car went from looking dull and old to a BRAND NEW car after just one full day of work! This guy is a magician!
He was able to remove scratches and swirls that I would have sworn were impossible to remove. I couldn't believe it was my car.
Pictures do no justice, but here it goes.
