I also didn't like how the car is such an attention getter. It was too flashy for me, and i like the understated look of the caddy. Plus you just can't beat the ride of the caddy.

THe payments actually end up being the about the same, but I financed for 3 years instead of 5.
I got a half a point more with the used car financing, which was pretty cool.
I ended up getting the Caddy for 18k.

Go drive a 300 for a few months and see what I mean about the ride. Also, having a new car, I acted like a bitch with it. I parked it at the end of the parking lot at the mall, i washed it every week, basically went over it with a q-tip eveyday. and getting the attention it gets, it was only a matter of time before it got keyed, or scratched or dinged, and I didn't want that.
having a used car that has a few scratches in it, I don't care about it as much, I'll park it anywhere, I'll leave it anywhere and not worry about it, I'll lend it out and not be worried its gonnna get scratched. and Old? the caddy is an 02 with 22k miles. not exactly old. I was paying $530 with the 300 and I'm paying about $475 with the Cadillac.

btw. The Car looks too comfortable IMO. I think I'd fall asleep behind the wheel in that thing...hmmm...maybe that's why senior citizens are such bad drivers, they doze off from time to time.

That said, I personally would not trade the 300C for an older Seville. However, I would trade the 300C for a new STS. Those are HOT!!!!

See I don't think the deville is an old mans car either, i think its a pimp car. Especially in black.
