Talking My new car....the IS

so with the new car threads, i've decided to post my new car i picked up last night.

picked up a black on black 2007 Lexus IS250 awd.

didn't have time to get pics today so the camera phone will have to do for now, i'll find time tomorrow.

it's loaded with the HID's
the only things it does not have is the Mark Levason stereo and navi.
so far i'm loving it, and lexus deffinitly under rates the power and performance of these cars. lexus is installing the rear lip spoiler once it comes in because they had to order it

in addition to that my dad also picked up a loaded 2007 GS350 awd. we were both able to get our cars at invoice.

the car will get the factory lip kit, a set of DPE rims, intake and exhaust.
it is going to be tinted next week as well as a clear bra put on the entire front. i do alot of highway driving and this will deffinity help the paint.

compared to the amount of gas i was spending a week for my SUV, the payment on this car plus it's gas is about 100 bucks less a month.

of course azine for life!

we got both the cars at invoice. we know the GM at the lexus store. gave us high numbers on our trades and gave us invoice for both of them. we have known him since he was the GM at acura. anybody from the new england area that wanyts something close to invoice tell me, i can tell you who to see and who sent you. they'll do you right.

it doesn't come out as much you see there. i'm debating on taking it off, i do alot of driving a day inbetween two states, and the staties are sticklers for stuff like that.

Pics tonight if i got time, and probably more tomorrow after me and my dad detail both the cars.

and thanks guys for the compliments. i will post pictures as the mods come along too

nice whip.

I do not know the 1/4 mile times on the 250 but some of the guys on Club Lex are getting the 350 to run well into the 13s.

1/4 in 16.0
0-60 in 8.3

But then again it says 14.2 for the IS350 and we know many have gotten into the 13s easily with it.

Road & Track, March 2006

IS 250 AWD

0-60: 7.4
1/4 mile: 15.5 @ 89.2

Compared to 6.5 and 15.0 @ 93 for the A4 2.0T and 6.5 and 15.0 @ 91 for the 325xi in the same comparo. Although those were both 6MT's.

while its not fast at all, its certainly quick enough for daily/semi agressive driving

I bet that will be hot. Personally, the only thing your whip needs is some aftermarket shoes.

Congrats, and you got the wood interior, which IMO is so much better than the plastic metal interior.

I'm going to guess it's either the Portsmouth or Bristol side

I haven't used the bridge in years... but see it alot as part of the scenery in my drives...

i go to school at Roger Williams, and their is a road right by the dorms where it's a round about with cement walls, but right above it is the bridge and an opening to the water, it looks real good at dusk with the bridge light up and the orange horizon. public security was hanging out down there last week so i couldn't get any shots.

That bridge is mad sketchy. It moves a lot when its windy out.

Nice IS. Tint the windows and some wheels and it will be perfect.

Is the IS250AWD let me guess possibly $35,000 with some of the options you put on it?
