For my m3 in august..

I have to decide on the color soon. I narrowed it down to the following specs.....jus need some opinions.

1>Carbon black/ imola red interior

2>Laguna seca blue/black interior

3>Laguna seca blue/Laguna seca interior (extra $$$)

4>Le mans blue/laguna seca interior ( extra $$$ )

those colors that beltfed showed a while back were sweet,

i dont see the lemans blue on the bimmer website

but i'd get black or imola red, that blue is too light. black interior of course

I say get Le mans blue, but dont get the laguna interior. Im not much of a fan of it. Here are pics of the seca interior for those who dont know what color it is... http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthr...r&pagenumber=1

But Le mans blue is BAD ASSS!!!

techno Violet is the purple color. Its bad ass too. They make all sorts of colors.. but if i were to get an m3 and pay extra for paint... then i would go for Bluewater EU or Estoril Blue

Heres a link of some colors and interior colors http://www.m3supercar.com/e46.html

Auugghhh... My eyes That color interior is a sure way to kill resale value. It's not blue it's turquoise !!

I really like the beemers in Blue. I've seen enough of the silver 3 series to last a lifetime. Up here in the Northeast most of the beemers are silver.

Blue is the way to go for the exterior. Estoril Blue looks good.

seriously though i'd go for the cinnamon leather interior. I don't even see the laguna seca on the choice list of the bmw configurator...imola, grey. cinnamon, black, black with m cloth inserts are the only options I see...

I don't think you can get black with imola interior...so get the black with cinnamon interior. That or the Blue with black interior! Or the alpine white with imola red. Either way I envy you!

Careful w/ the IR interior, there are many reported cases of smells from the dye used on the leather.

As for exterior, stay w/ the safe colors because of resale values. Carbon black, steel grey, avus blue, and titanium silver etc. are all safe. Purple, yellow, and others ... unless you plan on keeping the car forever.

I like avus blue, but I dont think its worth 2k more. It pretty much looks like the new mysitc blue that they have now for free.

But i would sooo hump that violet

I detailed a 328ci blue (not sure if was Avus, doubtful).. nice color though.. But I am a titanium silver, carbon black or dark grey kinda guy... Especially in something that badass, got to rock the hard up colors... don't be a pansy ass.

They are all nice colors....

Actually, Mystic Blue isn't free (BMW charges for Metallic paint)....its $475.

Not to mention in person, Mystic doesn't hold a candle to Avus Blue. Avus Blue is like the nicest shade of blue I have seen from BMW. Lemans Blue comes in at a close second (that's closer to Avus than Mystic is, which is too dark).

No reason, all of the custom colors are rare for the E46.

When Techno was available on the E36 (standard color), I saw them.....not in droves but I did see them.

Techno Violet looks killer in person, not very showy, real dark and very expensive looking.

Bluewater and bluewater EU are different i guess.

Silverstone known as Bluewater in USA, thats the one you just posted.

I think this is the Bluewater EU, go to this link and look near the bottom for it http://www.m3supercar.com/e46.html

I'm 99% sure that Bluewater replaced Silverstone, Silverstone had a blue tint to it....but it was slightly darker than Bluewater.

thx for the replies.....
I am leaning towards laguna seca/black But the carbon black/red combo is very tempting.
As for purple..i wish i can more pics and maybe just one in real life.....it could be awesome like belfed said but i still have to see it once.

Here are some more photos of Techno V......seeing one in person will be a long shot. I lucked out and saw one at the dealer being serviced.

Estoril Blue is in the middle
