My first "project"

Me and my friend are changing a deck for the first time in his INFINITI J30 '95. We are using factory (stock) speakers, and just changing the bose head unit for a sony one.

We did all the wiring (the coloured ones) and the only thing left to connect is the power cable from car to the new deck.

The ones that the Bose system had don't match with the deck's holes. I looked for any other wire there is nothing that matches it...

There is a cd-changer in the trunk that is broken is it possible that the power cable i need to connect to the new deck is currently connected to the cd changer?

I really need help spent all the weekeend doing this, i am not complaining it was interesting.

p.s. it helps tthe head unit that was in this infiniti is the same that Infiniti I30 has and Nissan maxima with bose during late 90's i believe thanks in advance guys.

we also need to finish this tonight so help asap would be very thankful.

i posted this also in audio and video not to scam or anything i just see there is much more people here so better chances of me and my friend finishing faster. tomorrow is monday and have to drive to school, and we can't till we finish this.

Thanks you and sorry posting this is in two topics once i get help i will ask moderator to delete one of them.

The power cable for the headunit should be in the aftermarket wiring harness that you bought to connect to the factory wiring.

Ok so we just hooked up the deck to the car and the speakers. Everything works but the first time we started the car there was a weird noise from the ignition...10 seconds later there was a smell from the speakers and even little smoke..

We installed it using the harness that is for this model everything looks right but why is it BURNING...

what do we do

Thanks..

Its a sony explod with factory bose speakers

THANKS
