My coverage of the 14th annual Petit Le Mans..

Because race car.

If you like tow hooks, gold foil, 13.5x18s, balloons, R8s, canards, porsches, APR, zipties, and/or cadillacs...proceed..

Enjoy!

Upon arrival to the infield inside turn 10..

..we started walking towards vendor village and saw a ferrari hardparked with the top down...fuck dirt dust says he..

3 nice guys gave me props on my TL, and told me they were in the black audi with black wheels, so surely i was going to take a pic of their car..

Cadillac had 4 of their beasts on display..

Budlight and Volks, good stuff..

This is a Nissan LEAF..

Nissan and Volks go hand in hand..

Then we entered the Audi tent..

Some dude that was in line behind my brother said he won the forza competition last year, and had the fastest lap time this year as well. His name is fishergrunt. Talk shit to him if you want! My brother is in this pic, not the dude.

I love the way this car looks..

'Fuck dirt' Dirt ain't got shit on me.

What do you know about that clay tire gel?!..

Miller Lite Straight truck. Time to build one out of LEGO.

Heading down the big ass hill..i broke my neck a little..

Breat Cancer awareness month has commenced..

She had a nice smile.

there is moar.

The realtime TSXs are inside. We missed the boat on seeing them up close

I'm fairly confident I will build this truck out of LEGO as well

Cadillac Racing really impressed me. My brother and myself both agreed that purchasing one of their new beasts isn't out of the question.

BIY: Build it yourself toolbox..

I happen to heart zipties. Do you?!

They're not lookin at the ferrari..

..They're lookin' at this..

wut?

Strange.

Kyle McManus's media pass. Look for his coverage on urban racer 10 months from now or so.

No, this will NOT buff right out you fuckin clown.

4 buzzing shitheads trying to put together an oldschool tent, that was purchased used Kyle thought it was hilarious, and we all laffed for the entire duration of the install..

..until this point, all of the above were taken on friday. moar to come..

Everything after this sentence was taken on saturday. Before the race, everyone is allowed to walk the grid and look at the cars up close..

They synchronized the 'Star Spangled Banner' with two parachuters..

ebaY ftw!

Where's Waldo? He really is in here.

I liked her shirt.

Chick-fil-a winz.

Last photo of the weekend before we left.

If you didn't go, i'm sorry. Your weekend probably wasn't as awesome as it could have been. But it's ok, because i've figured it out already.

Next year it's going to be on October 20. What we can do is go ahead and organize an Atlanta meet which will be held on the sunday following the Petit Le Mans. If you have kids, they can visit the new LEGOland Discovery center which should be open sometime next year in Atlanta somewhere. I saw some acuras hardparked throughout the infield and i'm not sure if any of them are members of acurazine. I just feel like it would make for a really awesome weekend. What does everyone think?

That's good. My weekend could have been better. We decided that it wouldn't be complete unless we saw a veyron and a LFA.

Next year hopefully we can all agree to meet in Atlanta the same weekend and make it a 2 or 3 day event.

Cool, I went to the ALMS race in Baltimore not too long ago. They didn't have a lot of the cars there (Audi and Aston Martin to name a couple). Any idea why they don't run all of the races? Not enough pit room or something?

Damn, so jelly. I don't know what's more awesome the Carrara White GT2 RS or the Suzuka Grey (I believe this is the color) R8 GT. You got a nice closeup of the CF accents on the GT. Looks like a great time.

Thanks! There are two 2nd gen TSXs inside that truck. Unfortunately, by the time we got to that side of the paddock, both of them were already tucked inside. It was the saddest moment of the weekend haha.

You're welcome! Sorry it ruined your monday haha. It's always sort of depressing after epic car events. I forget at what point in the weekend that we saw your TSX for the first time, but it was a good moment. I was like..'oh shit!'..look at that tsx'!

There was a lot more to photograph for sure. I'm going to make it a goal to double the amount of photos next year lol. Maybe I will have a better zoom lens and will learn how to shoot some good shots of the cars on the track.

Both of those car made me happy. It's hard to decide which one is more awesome. I think maybe the R8 GT.

Oh hell yeah, thanks for posting those!

I just got done reading about the highcroft team planning to debut their project 56 delta wing at Sebring in March. My buddies were telling me the atmosphere there is at a whole different level.

..so now i've just decided that I will in fact be going to sebring in march.
