i kno u guys love the CL's, i loved it personally, it was a good car and served its DD purpose for me for the last couple of years. but it basically sat around since june. clutch was toast, i finally decided it was time, and fixed it.

Dude came by Thursday responding to the CL ad and picked it up. soo with out further ado, here's the last picture i'll ever take of the CL



guess its one less acura in the driveway.

I know the feeling though. I've totally lost inspiration with my car. And it's no longer a practical DD.

Damn, you wrecked TWO Legends?? And one went into the green coupe, the other into the 4 door? Both type II 6 speeds?

 

yea. i wrecked my black 93'coupe 6mt, then got the 94 GS sedan auto, and wrecked it 2 months later, then go the green coupe, and swapped the black coupe into that, and then finally this summer, swapped the GS into another sedan.

so yea, only the coupe is a 6MT both typeII thou. The green coupe, i got for $500 for the original owner, it had a BHG, which ironically, almost a year later (25k this year, 55k on the motor since full rebuild), i got another BHG gonna be pulling the motor in a few weeks for another rebuild. lolol

man i love how tight looking the shifter area is on the coupe. the rings on the gauges was a nice touch too. coupe and sedan both look great.

 

def bro! CL just had to go, i got some plans for this rebuild coming up, it'll be fun!


thanx, its got a short shifter, and that's a 04+ tl knob and boot combo

 

yeah it looks good. the shifting area isnt as wide and long as the CL/Accords. its a good look with the bigger center console.

 

Love the legends. I wanted to get one but couldn't find one in my area so got the CL instead. Your pics are making me regret that decision somewhat.

 

oh yea. i see what you mean. yea, its one of the few that actually don't use the same console for a mt and auto. I love it, and i'm on the biggest fan of wood but i love the burledwood in these cars!

 

they're definatly harder to find, and especially in upkept shape. I got pretty lucky with my new coupe, but it also helps when u got a garage stocked with spare parts. :lol2: this green coupe is the 8th legend i've had in the last 5 years. 3 out of which were strictly parts cars.

you really have to hand it to the designers of that coupe. It's timeless. Heck, it better than most cars today.
