Mustang owners!!

So I was at this driving last weekend where we got to drive 6 exotic cars like the Ferrari F430 and Lambo Gallardo for an extend period of time. It was was my turn to drive the Ferrari and while driving we passed these guys in a Mustang GT sitting on the side of the road. As we drove by they started cheering an yelling and whatnot, next thing I know that same Mustang is right behind me tailgating me. The guy in front of me was in the Z06 vette and we were already going close 75 MPH. I couldn't speed up anymore because I would be too close to the vette. But the guy in the Mustang continued to ride my bumper reving his engine for about a quarter mile down the narrow road. The pace car pulled over to the side of the road so we could switch cars again, and as soon as I pulled into the grass, the Mustang floors goes buy us doing what had to be 90 MPH, then down the road he spins the car around screeching tires and all leaving a nice doughnut on the pavement and comes right back towards us going full speed as he flew by us.

I know he probably wanted to see what the Ferrari really could do, but didn't this idiot see that there was a car right in front of me even if I wanted to show him. He had rear ended me, it would have ruined every one's day that hadn't got a chance to drive the Ferrari. Plus I wonder what he would have done and how he would have felt had he rear ended me and caused a 6 car pileup to the cars pictured below. He would have felt REALLY smart then.

I took this from across the road shortly after the fool in the Mustang left.

I had a great time BTW.

It was a fun Saturday afternoon. Perfect weather and beautiful scenary.
The event itself was very organized and the people behind the event were down to earth. One of the organizers was from Belgium, I'm not sure where the other guy was from. The food there was pretty good, I wish I had gotten more of that cake though, because when I finally tried a piece it was VERY good, but it was pretty much all gone.

You got to drive the cars by yourself for about 20 - 25 minutes and did not need an instructor in any car except the Ford GT, because apparantly someone had wrecked it at a previous event. It also has no traction control. Everyone who drove the GT including myself seemed to drive it very cautiously. I'm not sure if that was because the instructor was in the car or because they were scared of wrecking it like the last person did.

Sounds like you guys were bumper to bumper though. Was that really worht the $300 or whatever it cost? I've thought about this, but that's my fear; that you don't get to really open them up (don't kid me that 75mph is really something.) Forget the Mustang, detail the event for us!

It was $995 for me. I was going to pay for my wife to go as a guest ($250), but she didn't want to go, so I went by myself.

I think it was worth it but definetely a once a year or once every two year thing. It wasn't really bumper to bumper the whole time, the pace car got way out in front of us at times so we had to open the cars up to keep up with him. The only time we were bumper to bumper was when we encountered Sunday drivers holding up traffic and when we were slowing down to pull over so we could switch cars. A couple of guys were "racing" the Ferrari and the Lamborghini. But we had to be careful about speeding recklessly because if any of us got a speeding ticket it was our responsibility. Plus there was HUGE deductible if we damaged any of the cars. (ex. damage to the F430 deductible was $5000)

I'll post event details soon with more pics!
