Looks like a sick movie, but at the end why did he burn his car?

damn, EA must have consulted with this movie for NFS: Underground... wtf. Not to mention F&F, which came out in 2001. This movie had an S2000 in it, check the IMDB link above. Pretty crazy, since the car technically came out in 2000, add into that movie development time... hmm.

I like how there was only one big drift in the whole clip - although it looks like it was some CGI.. ?

 

ekin burned the car at the end to honor his friend, paddy, who had built the lancer for him, who also ultimately died racing the same subaru driver while trying to avenge ekin who had to go in hiding
