There are a lot more companies popping up, motorex has been dieing for a few years now

That's a shame though, I've been over to their shop a few times and even gotten a ride in an R34 and a fully built R32. We use to have a plant directly across the street from them.

I actually believe they are already out of business, those were the rumors around

I read that thread a couple of weeks ago via G35driver.net. Still not certain how true this story is.

not true. I've heard a U.S.A. version of the Skyline is coming. don't know how watered down it will be. i don't know if it will be a GT-R version offered. don't know prices. but i heard sometime 07 or 08. .
Hey if that falls through Toyota bringing back the Supra

Considering how long I've been on FA ... I still don't understand the fascination with Skylines and/or the problem of MotoRex.

WHY do people keep saying this? the skyline IS coming? it IS HERE already. it is called the g35. the gt-r is the high performance version of the skyline. the new gt-r will be it's own model, separate from skyline. when and if it comes to america, it will most likely be called the infiniti gt-r.

The latest rumor is that it'll be a Nissan Skyline GT-R not Infiniti.

I hope the GT-R comes to the US as an Infiniti, cause I prefer the Infiniti dealers over Nissan dealers. Plus under the Infiniti name it should have a longer warranty, free loaner cars, better service, etc.
