I always said my dream car was the E46 M3, but I think the reliability and age of the E9x make more sense now.. I'll always lust more for the E46 though.

So basically the M3 E92 buries them all.

Sounds about right. I love my E90.

A neighbor of mine a couple of houses down has an 8G AV6 sedan and a current generation Pilot that they have for daily use. But it's their E92 M3 -- which they only whip out on weekends -- which usually has me .

That said, BMW set the standard pretty high with the E90/E92 M3. So I'm eager to see the F32 version -- and hopefully F30, seeing as BMW seems to insert sedan versions with successive alternating generations.

Both are coming... M3 sedan in late summer fall of 2014 and then M4 coupe some time after that...

We just placed a deposit for the F82 M4 at work, cant wait to drive it.

Supposedly the M3 and M4 are rumored to be released near the same time now.

Its wild that its suppose to be lighter than the current E9X models.

And more power from a smaller engine. The purists hate the final demise of the NA engines, but it's where the world is and it sure does open up a whole new world of tuning possibilities.

People also hated that BMW went with a V8 when the E9X M3 was announce. The death of the high strung I6, oh noes.

Most dont like change.

IIRC, I don't think purists were all that thrilled when the M3 went from an I4 to an I6.

^^ Peeps are always going to complain.

Now where is the option for: I'll take all of the above.

I don't mind change, but I'm glad I got my high strung V8 while it was still available...

The next M3 will be a monster with less weight and more torque. It will be special in it's own way. All I know is that I'm hooked and can't wait to see it myself...
