Thats not a meet, thats a charity event (rally). When an Acura dealership does something similar, come back and talk.

Also, theres a big difference between those that can afford $100K+ cars and those that can afford $30K vehicles.

A buddy with a Murchie was turned away. 1000 bucks just to bring your car to cross the gate. All for a good cause but too rich for my blood. One of these days when the business takes off .

Well, I guess when you have 10's of millions of dollars of cars leaving your lot who have to slow down to a crawl so they don't scrape, you do what you have to do. Plus, on the other side of the road it looked like there may have been a traffic cop in the green vest.




I like the Maseratis and even toyed with picking a pre-owned one up. Not sure why they get such a bad rep...

 

Yes I was wondering the same thing. They did have a cop on the other side of the street, and the rest on the other side were the workers at the dealership. Lots of crazy speeding and even a burnout, right in front of the cop but nothing was done. Its good to be rich in more ways then one. I asked the cop if she would give tickets for speeding and she said she would have her eyes closed and not see anything :S

 

^ LOL. I'm sure she understood. It also looks like the cars that did peel out of there and speed down the road slowed down when they got a little bit futher away. I'm sure she let them slide b/c of the event.

Even so... that's a pretty cool cop in my books! But you're right... probably didn't hurt that it was all rich folks leaving in their $110k-$600k cars...
