I have bumped the Camry Forums and TN threads again...
I posted, Anyone make offer, any amount...
This is really becoming a financial burden...
Anyone here?
My only reservation is that it will go to someone who respects cars... That's it!!!

Yeah, it's a chunk of metal and electronics, not a puppy. Divorce your emotional attachment to it and let it go. Did you put it on the List of Craig? $500 cars will usually sell in an afternoon.
It's kind of commen sence.

It's a burden because of insurance, over $100 a month to sit...
If I cancel, I have to remove plates...
If I remove plates, city warns, then removes vehicle for abandonment on public right away...
I have to garage, the RDX sits just behind it, where the biege Kia SUV is in the picture...
I had to drag it into the street last month, person couldn't cut grass around around it, looked abandoned, had to reposition it, etc...
There I am...
I don't care who gets it, as long as it doesn't end up with a low-life.... I want to see it restored as I had planned, or at least used a a good daily...
I don't care, it's just too good to be given off to some dumbass crackhead, or a stupid college kid who will total it in six months...
I want, and need, to know the vehicles okay...
I think of this kind of like a child of mine, I very much so dislike human children, or maybe just an old friend...
I've never been able to have a vehicle in my life for so long...
For goodness sake, my great-grandmother, who was almost 93, had left us the money to purchase this...
In my little mind, we just got it....
It's still new to me, heck 10 years ain't nothing...
Ok, so I don't expect Acura drivers to want a Camry, that's a step backward for you all, but the demand for theses Camrys are insane...
I drove into a Nissan dealer about three years ago, a salesman ran accross the lot to ask if he could buy it...
Just because it needs an engine, it's an easy engine to find too, what $800 or so at a junkyard tops, and it's worth $5,000 again...
This one isn't going to it's final owner anytime soon...
You know who's fault this all is too, the popular YouTube mechanic who recommends ATP-205 RE-SEAL...
No one told me, Use In Moderation!!!

Three or four months before the engine blew, I had a guy yell accross a parking lot "That's a nice Camry"!!!
With the Kia, I got a lot of confused looks and some complements, like the guy who said they're great and his daughter drove one...
That was actually just four or five hours before the accident...
No one has noticed the RDX however...

Dude,
you said it yourself. It's costing you money, it isn't desirable as it sits so get rid of it.
Free to a good home, needs xyz to run on Craiglist and be done with it.
If nobody bites in a week, call your favorite organization that takes automotive donations.

Anytime any of these vehicle are in the shop, I ride past every day and night to see where they're parked, even when the Kia was at the repair shop all of February with the front bumper hanging down...
I periodically google the VIN to find its whereabouts....
I also pause mid sentence if I think I've seen it, or any other vehicle I've had or have known personally...
I have no problem selling it, just as long as I know where it's going... That's all...

All I have is an IPhone that is on the verge of crashing again...
I don't thing Craig's place is where I dhould be going...
I've never even used it, and I avoid the place like the plague...
What about Facebook garage sale?
I don't know who the salesman was...
I do not want to sell it to a third party, as I won't have contact with the person who will drive, maintain, and care for it...
Accually, someday, I'd like to buy it back, in maybe 5-10 years...
This is why I care so much...
The sights, sounds, and distinct smell a vehicle has is priceless...
It's a felling you get, to me, my vehicle is like an old pet, this Camry is my 15 year old stallion!!!

You do realize that a car without a working engine isn't much different from a tool shed, right?
Also, I'm back to thinking there's no way you're not totally full of shit and trolling the shit out of us. Again, you teeter on believable but then never address real suggestions because you want to keep the charade alive.
Yeah, sell a non working non enthusiast vehicle to someone that will care for it more than you have (and mind you, they don't have the connection you have with it or want to fuck it like you do because there's no sentimental value to them) AND THEN YOU PLAN TO BUY IT BACK FROM THEM IN 5 TO 10 YEARS. Is it because you're assuming they'll have fixed it up by then? If that's the case, why not just have it towed to a mechanic and stop romanticizing this process.

Give the ol' girl a nice and thorough wash (don't forget the wheels and hood - can use the same cleaners), a coat of wax, and then go find a shady tree to park under.
Put some duck tape over the headlights, wait for a nice breeze, and the SHOOT THE FUCKING THING WITH A 12 GAUGE SLUG. Right in the engine block.
Goodnight sweet prince.
