Gee I'm so shocked that Mercedes had a glitch with their new automated braking system.

[i] the blushing Mercedes security engineers soon discovered the problem: The test had been done in a hall which was made of steel. This confuses the radar, and the system doesn't work properly

A lot of buildings are made of steel reinforced concrete, not to mention all of those suspension bridges.

Haha, those idiots. When they tested the silver one the camera man was like "can i go with him...in the back?" He's like "sure" So when they thought the camera was off the guy's like "he's gonna realize that there's no signal when to brake, and what's he gonna say when he sees that you're braking right after you go over that piece of wood?" After a few minutes they told him that he can't go.

ScheiBe! ScheiBe! ScheiBe! ........ ScheiBe!

It is pretty cool technology though, don't think I've ever been in a fog storm but I guess if someone wasn't paying attention while they were screwing with the radio etc. and traffic stopped this would save them.
