i know it should be in the racing forum but im sure eveyone wants to know we both have intake its my cousins car from the very get go we were even for about 2 seconds then he starts to pull the rest of the way i got to about 90 or a little over we raced a couple of times he beat me by a car and a 1/2 and one of the races by 2 cars it was closer than i thaught but the g35 is quicker where both autos from a role i was right next to him for a long time and 1 he pulled up top but still pretty close both great cars now i need headers

 

Sweet man. you should get those header then you'll beat him.

 

i was just watching the video i taped on of the runs he beat me by a car so ine was pretty close

I have an 01 auto. Today I raced a 6spd G35 coupe 0-75mph (because a car pulled in front of me) and beat I him. I had my friend in the car and he was alone. He told me I had nice wheels and that the car sounds nice. The guy had paper tags, so maybe he couldn't drive the car yet. The only hp gains I have come from an w/aem intake and comptech exhaust.

 

i think maybe he couldnt drive yet skinsfan it was fairly close with me and the g35 cpe from a roll fairly even the edge to the g35 and from a stop anywhere from he beat me by 1/2 car to 65 and to 90 92 a car and a 1/2

 

i honestly had trouble understanding your post. just throw a period or something in every now and then.

He pulled on me a little off the line but he had to change gears, just when my VTEC was really kicking in that's where I took over. You should have seen his face when I passed him.

Shift just before I hit the rev limiter. You have to ride the gears out till there is nothing left. That way your RPM's stay up in the next gear and you don't have to wait for the power. I'm getting headers this week. I'm sure a better driver would get me.

Yes Sir I have a friend who will testify to the victory as well.
We raced on connecticut ave in D.C. From a red light (stopped, till
75mph).
I have cai and comptech exhaust which does next to nothing.
I know it was 6spd cause he had brembos. White w/no wing.
Like I said he probably couldn't drive the car yet, since he had VA paper tags on it.

Okay... all this 'I think mine is faster' stuff is quite annoying with the CL drivers saying the CL-S's are quicker and the G35C owners saying the G35C is quicker.

If anybody with a naturally aspirated (no internal motor mods either) G35C 6spd wants to run... I am up for it - street tires.

i dont know if its just me that missed it or what, but its been a while since ive heard about your mods. the last thing i remember is the turbos but now that they are gone, what else has been done?

A STOCK G35C (6spd) is quicker than a STOCK CL-S (6spd)... given equal drivers.

A STOCK G35C (auto) is quicker than a STOCK CL-S (auto)... given equal drivers.

you are correct allmotor but a supercharged six like mine will go so fast by the g35 it will pull those letters off the infinity lol ok enough playing around going to bed i have to go to work to pay for more mods,good night cls crew:o
