Stay or leave
Its nice to see someone work there way back to this site and clear the air, hopefully you didn't take anything to personally, or at least I hope i didn't say anything to bad, regardless sick cars, awesome hobby. Just curious how long did you have to wait to get that SL, and I'm damn glad you actually drive that car like it was ment to be driven.

Elementary, my dear Holmes. Someone mentioned in an email that my dragstrip vid had made its way to an acura board. From there a quick bit of Googling narrowed down the choices.

The thing is, it's making 520-537 RWHP from 3500 to redline (twin turbo V12... go figure), so there's much more area under the curve than the equation you're using normally assumes.
I'm headed back to the 'strip on 10/23 with my DRs, so we'll see how it runs then. I'm guessing 11.4 @ 123. At that point, another 50 RWHP should put it barely into the 10s - and that's just about what I'd get from the RENNtech ecu.
10s in a stock + ECU + DRs lux convertble would be... cool

Oh ya 10's would be phenomimal from a midly modified stock MB. It'd be awesome to run a viper and own it. Be funny to sip on something to drink while racing one.

yea I'm quite surprised you found your way here, but looks like you have been here for a while. maybe just haven't visited in a while, eh.
I remember you from the old skool mkiv supra mailing list... ahhh back in the days of classic internet shit-talking with AZ vs TX vs the rest......... it won't ever get better than that..
Great to see all the progress you've made and I also noticed a writeup about you and your S600 in Car & Driver, I believe. Maybe you got a scan of that, you can share? thx

> i cant believe CD ran the car almost a full second slower than you
It's easy to understand when I mention that the test location was in the high desert near Willow Springs raceway, the temp at the time of the testing was 100F, and the car was on street tires and spun through 40 MPH :/
