i'm partial to the s8.
but of the two choices, i'd say s550.
but yea, have your dad test drive both. the s class is no longer boring, in my eyes. the new design is very, very stylish.

Yea but based on the fact that the guy is letting his KID pick the car... im thinking he doesnt care much about how sporty it drives.
Thats why i picked the S-class, looks better than anything in it class. IMO

S8 please. Oh, that's not in the picture. Ok then, A8L, but I have a bias towards Audi. That and I like cars that are underdogs which aren't popular with the general public. In otherwords, Audi is the underdog so my vote goes to them. Ever seen the Transporter 2? Just imagine jumping the A8 off the ramp just like Jason Statham's character. Um...yeah.

One thing I will say that I despise (and was shocked by) on the MB550 was the fact that the gear shift was located on the steering column...
I dunno, but that made the interior seem a little more budget-looking in my mind - kind of like a crappy GM car...
