MB resale

In general, does MB resale suck? Just browsing through ebay and noticing e classes, s classes, etc. taking a HUGE depreciation hit within 2-3 years.

Uh huh - buddy of mine flew down to florida in july and bought an '02 S55 AMG with 27k miles on it for $36,000 - which was a good deal... Edmunds TMV at the time was around 44-48 if i remember correctly.

Original sticker sheet that came with the car was $109,xxx

yes the depreciation rate is crazy on MB cars. The full sized sedans with monstrous engines like the S55,E55 or M5 tend to be hurt even more.Not to mention that reliability has a funny word to add in there. I'm still waiting here for that perfect pre-owned E60 M5... May be one day.
