Really enjoy this Top Gear review of the Mazda MPS (what they call the Mazdaspeed6 on that side of the pond).

got a friend that owns one of these. hes let me autox it a few times. its 500+hp and it is a freaking monster. supposidly the fastest ms3 in the nation. I cant confirm that though, just what Im told...
sadly, the car is apart right now having a rebuild, but once its back up and running its gonna be a monster.
his wheels change often, but when this shoot was done, this were street wheels.

and autox/hillclimb mode.

shenrie, is your friend's username Driver211 or something like that? I've seen his threads over at msf. I think his car runs 11's in a quarter mile with trap speed of almost 120mph or something like that.
A clean build for sure. Props to him.

yep, Driver311, its what he uses on the local forum too. definatly looking forward to it running again.
he might actually be codriving my civic with me for the rest of our autox season. great driver. dude can jump in any car and make the owner look like a chump, lol. He took my "fastest fwd up the hill" status last year at the bogus basin hillclimb. My record had held for 7 years. big fat jerk

Six times Mazda owner here.
I learned to drive on a Mazda RX-2. The backfires were memorable.
Like this one but dark green.

My dad also had 2x Mazda R100 (late sixties).

My preferred was my Mazda 626 Turbo 1987.

You will fall in love with it once you test drive it.
I was THIS close to purchase the GTI when I was shopping for my car, but then, I went to the Mazda dealership......
Completely forgot about the GTI and bought the MS3 right away.

I guess I'll wait till the Focus ST comes out and compare the two before I buy.

Damn this thread has died off.
Since my wife and I are on a spending freeze - which means I can't buy parts for my MS6 - I've been bored. To waste time I would've been spending looking for parts, I've been addicted to reading mag reviews of the MS6 to make myself feel better.
