didn't watch the videos, but the Max has a lot better torque range and more than the S2k....

The S2k after 6k RPM might be good, but getting to that point.

 

an 02 max beat an s2k and an m3 with only an intake?

this makes no sense.

Somthing about that race doesn't seem right.

 

that max sounded pretty loud for just having intake only, and it took off pretty fast.

I would say if the s2k was in a low rpm range when starting then it should be possible......but how in the hell was m3 so far back from everyone?

My guess is the Maxima is spraying!

I can beat a 2k2 manual tranny Maxima with my 75-shot, but can't beat a S2000 or an M3.

 

Max's are fast. My friend has one and he only has a intake. I have headers and a intake and he walks on me all the time. It has more torque at a lower range.

 

not that fast that was on the highway. Like dustbuster was saying that maxima is spraying.

 

FWIW I don't think the max is spraying.

The race with the S2k seems right. Max gets 1 to 1.5 car length jump and keeps. Torque won that one.

The race with 97 M3 is closer than it looks. With them catching up to the traffic ahead of them the M3 gets on the brakes much sooner than the max making it appear the Max won by a large margin. Also consider that the camera car which is a Prelude is hanging right with the M3. I would be curious to how many people were in the M3 and what kind of tranny it had. The M3 is also 7 years old and may have had a hard life.

 

I've seen a 2k2 Maxima with only intake and Y-pipe running 14.0 flat, so this is possible
