I'm here on vacation and already I wish I could live here! Or at least ship my car over so I could drive the scenic H1, H2, and H3. Oh well, we're renting a Pontiac G6 for wheels. Anyone know of anything besides the usual, and that a tourist might not know about, to do for fun? Thanks, you all have an awesome state here.

H1, H2, H3 ... not really an "inter-state" since that would be one helluva bridge (or tunnel) to California.

Yah - after multiple trips there, I've realized as beautiful as it is - they don't call it island fever for nothing, driving in cricles get's old pretty quick.
Maybe I'll reconsider when retirement age rolls around...

I've lived out here for the last 8 months. I've lived in NYC,San Fran,Virginia Beach,San Diego,Chicago, and San Diego. This by far has been the absolutely worse traffic I have ever seen. H1 H2 H3 were developed for the military to move from base to base with ease. But never thought about what would happen once the population grew. Don't Move Here!

Well ... maybe with the weather you're having right now ... but to those who experience 4 seasons ... this is the only place in the US I would consider moving. And I have been to almost every state except the few in the center (Kansas, Nebraska, etc ...) -- and yes, I've been to Alaska.
(BTW, my family liked to take road trips when I was growing up)

Fort Weaver Road is a fvckin' joke. Lived there for the past 13 years and seen the traffic get worse by each passing month. "Don't Move Here" - well at least not to Ewa Beach.
BTW - H3 is the only roadway that was built with the military in mind..connects Pearl Harbor to MCBH.
