I dont think the c32 comes in manual

I'd get the new slk55 if you can afford it, and if not then the M5...much more classy than the rest

I would say SLK55. If it were me, I would go with the M5, but since you're 18 and convertibles = , get the SLK55.

If you can get the SLK55, get it. If not, I change my first opinion and say get the M3.

By the way, this car in looks/performance smokes all the others pretty damn easily IMO.

I like how you picked out the Brabus edition, out of all the SLK's to choose from. Of course it's nice, that's the hottest one around!

I'd go for the M3 by the way, even though in your case I'd buy a new Negaro Blue S4 instead of used cars, especially German ones.

Will this work then?

I put the brabus one up for people who doubt the cars potential.

As stated earlier -- all AMG's are automatic with the sport-shift like the automatic Type-S's (2nd gen TL/CL, at least) -- thing is, it shifts a lot faster and their trannies are a lot stronger than ours. Is there such a thing as a 2004 C32? I thought they went to a C55 in 2004???

However ... I would never recommend a MB to anyone right now. Their quality is not there. You're better off get a BMW based on your list. If insurance means anything to you, the M3 (2-doors) is gonna cost more to insure than the M5 (4-doors). No idea on fuel economy. But would you rather drive a 3 yr old car or a 5 yr old car?

I would go with the M3 if that's what you're looking for.

dude your 18 and concidering these cars. damn must be nice to have loaded parents. your insurance will be CRAZY.
but if you are gonna get a wild ride i'd concider a new 05 Z4 3.0 liter. nice styling IMO, but getting it with a stick the SMG tranny a POS.
if you don't want that i'd go with the SLK 55 AMG.

the older SLKs were really performance machines. the new generation SLKs are a beast. even the 350s will give a S2000 a run for it's money alone a 55 AMG. yet it's a girly car i think not.

Since you're only 18 and shouldn't really need a 4 door. I'd personally choose in this order.

If the slk 55 is in your budget.

slk55>m3>m5>C32

If you can't afford the slk55.

m3>m5>c32> regular slk

i wanna see pics of this 18 year olds car when it gets it.

If it were up to me, I'd get the C32 AMG, and then do the ECU upgrade and the pulley upgrade thru Renntech.
