I can't imagine that does good things to the handling/dynamics. But I would be the first to test that theory and have lots of rubber burning fun.

That is pretty cool. But I hate scrolling through the thread for pictures and comments because there are some pretty ignorant comments. Still I have to applaud those folks at LS1tech because they really know what they're doing and they got the balls to do it. And I never knew the stock S2000 rear end ring gear was so small.... not like it needs to for the massive torque that the F20 or anything. I wonder if the OP sold the F20....

no matter what you do to a honda......its still a honda
So original. I wonder if the guy came up with that himself.

That would make for a pretty good NSX prototype.

The LSx is a surprisingly lightweight engine. I'm not sure how much the F20 weighs, but a buddy of mine swapped a LS6 into a Miata and the 'vette motor weighed 20 pounds less than the iron block turbo 4-banger it replaced.

Like many car forums that cater to a specific platform or two, there are plenty of haters on tech. One of the reasons I don't visit there as often as I used to. The signal:noise ratio can be pretty shitty, but there are some genuine auto enthusiasts there as well who are in it for the love of the hobby (like the guy who did this swap).

It's a good idea, what I'd rather just Turbocharge the F20C and call it a day. I would enjoy the handling characteristics more than the straight-line speed.

Those rear ends sometimes break with stock power if they see one too many drag launches. It's definitely the weak link in that car.
