Low Refrigerant (R-134A)
Refrigerant is low in my GM, any suggestions on a decent kit w/gauge for less than $30?
Suggestions on how to do it? Yes, I know, low-pressure side only...lol.
TIA.

How old is the car, does the ac have any leaks? Refilling isnt the best thing to do sometimes. You might want to have it flushed then filled. I had the system in my 89 jeep refilled a few weeks back and it pumped just a little colder, so then i had the system flushed then filled. It pumps like an igloo.

Do NOT get a kit with just a button to press on top to allow the flow of refrigerant! Get one that has a trigger, handle or petcock. Holding the button down can be a real pain.
Find the low pressure port (may have to do it on ramps), start car, AC on max, connect the kit, add until it reaches proper pressure. Simple and most kits have easy directions.

I'd get a professional to do it and also to check for leaks.
