Looking at an S13......

......I've come across an UNBELIEVABLE deal for a 1990 S13......the car has a SR20DET Red Top......Megan fully adjustable suspension. Only problem was the car needs a new front unibody clip (I'm thinking probably a max of 2K). It drives, and the frame is straight. It just needs some clean up.

What are the weak links in these cars?

BTW, the reason it's so cheap is the kid who owned it passed away 3 weeks ago. The family has asked the mechanic shop next door to my work to get rid of it for them...............none of them really know what is in it. They think it's a stock motor, susp, etc

here is the suspension on the car:

No, he didn't die in the car....completely seperate thing.

The car is drivable...it was fixed about 5 months ago by a body shop I know...the frame is straight...the car just pulls a little bit. A new front unibody brace could go in without even dropping the motor and would cost about $800 if that.

apparently he went out drinking and was alergic to nuts and had ordered a drink that had them and didn't know...his friends thought he had just passed out drunk so they threw him in the back of a car............

Sad thing was when I was going through the car I opened the glove box and their was his syringe with the shot for when he got his allergic reaction

Whats the wait on this one? Do it already, thats a great price. All ethical notions aside, the car is for sale and the price is right, heck just the motor alone costs more than $1500. Even if you dont intend to keep it, buy it, fix it up, have your fun for a few months or so and then sell it if you dont like it .

Also as someone else said earlier, the market is huge and cheap to fix these cars up. Being and old school nissan I dont see any major issues that you might run into.

$1.5k is a deal!!! you can't even find a stock 240sx for that price. Stock SR should be pushing around 220whp or little more. This is no brainer! you should definitely pick this bad boy up.
