Those cops have some serious rides.

I feel bad for the idiot that wants to try to outrun the cops in a high-speed chase.

I'm kind of surprised they aren't using the lower profile, less drag inducing light bars.

Still, nothing beats this...

or this...

Just saying that there are fast cars with 4 doors that can chase and hold. See, as Sienfield said, it's the hold thats the important part.

I lived in Japan for 6 years and it's very rare that the police would take someone in. The crime rate there is so small. Plus all Japanese police officers must be proficient in at least one type of martial art. You don't want to mess with these guys. I saw one police office take a drunk to his knees with a simple hand hold. The guy was in pain. They took him away. The police also carry very large red and white sticks and they have no police brutality laws. Hmmm perhaps we need to adopt to their system......... btw the max speed limit on the freeway is 120kph or about 72mph here, but most were only 100kph or about 60mph.

cool

where were u in japan mate?

i was there for 2 years and lived in chiba prefecture.
i was looking for some police cars in japan but came across these but i saw several 911's also.
the crime rate in japan is even less than sweden and we are hardly 9 million people.

but it is a country one has to visit once in the lifetime.....
absolutely amazing place to be.
