Look at the tint job on this G35
Is this guy nuts or what? He says he has 6% all around and 43% on the windshield. No doubt it looks good, but he's gonna crash into something the first time he drives that car at night in the rain
BTW, the guy is from Florida. Is it legal to tint your windshield there?

I have Madico Onyx tint 20% all around and 45 or 50% on the whole windshield too. You really can't tell the difference through the windshield from the inside but from the outside looking in it makes a huge difference.

I think the limit here in FLa is 50%, I have 20% all the way around (except windshield) on my black CLS. ... it's plenty dark..looks great. The cops will get you though, even though they have chilled a bit about tint in the last few years. I have got 2 tickets in the past for dark tint... not one yet in the CLS.

I had my windshield tinted here in NY, loved it, but it sucked when a state trooper pulled me over for it!! then a couple of days later I got blasted by a rock to the windshield!! this was on my old car, but the day that I was going to get the windshield done, a fucken rock came from an suv and blasted the windshield on my CL-S!! so I guess it wasnt mean to be!!

that looks amazing, but I wouldn't want to drive it at night. A friend of mine had a Silverado with 5% on the sides and rear, and he had to roll is windows down at night to be able to see his side mirrors. :shakehd:

The legal limit in Florida is actually 35% on the front two windows, and also only 35% on the front strip which can only be so many inches (I think like eight). The rear windows and rear sides can be any shade you want--even spray painted...
I honestly can say in my shadier, younger days, we all had 5% on all the windows and 20% on the front windshield (all the way). You couldn't see inside the car at all. I have to agree with Tom2 (amazing, I know), driving at night was a cluster-fu(k. Driving at night and in the rain was even worse. I was constantly scrubbing my wheels on curbs and such...
Florida is cool because they can only give you a non-moving violation which used to be $32. So, if you got pulled over you just went later on and paid your ticket. I think I had about 6 or 7 tint tickets back in the day...

Lol, i doubt he'll get pulled over. Any of you FL boys notice his PBA booster badge on his license plate? lol, I never knew for sure if that thing could get you out of a ticket - but it should.
A buddy of mine had 5% on his windshield and all the way around his pickup truck. I'll conclude that he does everything extreme, and in this case - he was extremely idiotic

%43 isnt that dark, id rather have that on my windshield than nothing, itd help reduce oncoming headlights, like suv headlights that are eye level and bright as fuck
