Life After An Acura

I haven't had an Acura since I sold my TSX in '06. This is still the best car forum around so I still come here though (mostly car talk and automotive news).

Damn CL has like 140k miles on it, went through 2 tranny's under warranty and changed tranny again only a few thousand miles ago. Doubt I'd buy another Acura again.

Mercedes owner, Still have (2) Acura left The MDX and Integra but the Integra is up 4sale. Still have another (2) more Acura in the family own by my Sister's RL and TSX.
I check the board here and there, but hardly post.

I'm looking forward to life after Acura. Not so much because I hate the brand (although there is no current Acura that interests me) or its treated me badly. I've been behind the wheel of an Acura or Honda product for 10+ years now.
Time to see what its like on the other side. :smitler:

My 96 Acura RL finally went after 251k miles in April. I got it when it was 4 years old with 47k in early 2000, so we had 8 years and 205k miles together. I parted it out (see http://www.geocities.com/acurarl96/AcuraRL96.htmlfor pictures). I bought a used Toyota Camry from my sister in law for my commuting car and bought a 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass convertible for run.
This is a good car site...

Regarding the Avant, I first fell in love with Audi when I saw tons of B6's rolling around on the freeway on my drives to work, this was before I bought my CL-S in August of 2002. Since then I knew I wanted an A4, just patiently waited for the right opportunity.
Regarding the Integra, you and I had to do the same and go back in time to buy an Acura to enjoy in lieu of buying their current models. If anything, I find that hilarious.

For a while, it seemed like everyone was trading in their Acura for a BMW 3-series.
The G35/37 seems to be another popular car here.
What are you thinking of getting?
