That is how much the fu$%*ng key cost with the fancy alarm built in to it!!!! My mom just got another key for her GS300 and they charge 190 bucks....funk that. hummm i wounder if the IS300 is the same....sucks for them!

Cost Drivers!!!!
For the newer luxary cars the replacement keys cost a bundle because they are laser cut and can't be copied 
Good/bad. Our Acura's cost 65.00 for each key. For Mercedes, I THINK, they can only get keys from home office or something crazy like that.

Actually, this is true. It has to come from MBUSA up in NJ, I think. I was told in the past that it would have to be sent from Germany to MBUSA to the local dealer. EST about 3 to 7 days.
