Lets see if I can shake this out of the tree ...
A little birdy tonight told me an interesting story about this car....
Hence my bid for $100,000.00 with a LOC emailed to them showing i have the 100K to pay. Should be a interesting week if no one bids on the car.

LOC = Letter Of Credit.
When I deal with a new client who has a interest in a corporate jet, i usually want to see a LOC, to show they have the ability to pay $10-$60Million or whatever the amount is if there not financing or leasing through our bank.
Cuts down on me wasting my time on someone who wants to buy champagne on a coke-cola budget.
Same if you buy a house or something similar.
LOC = Letter Of Credit > POF = Proof of Funds.
Different term same meaning...

Then why post it? You are starting to make a habit of this, drama queen.
Remember the stock you bought???

Isn't the whole point of this thread the "story" which you can't tell us? Without the "story" behind the vehicle this thread is pretty much worthless to me...not that the original poster cares what in the hell I think but I thought I would just state the obvious.
Seems to be more about "pounding the chest" than anything else.

The "Buy it now" price is 148K so the reserve is probably 140K or higher.
I don't think they would risk it going for less.

One ebay auto dealer near me used to sell some shitty cars, but now he's only dealing with MB,BMW,Lexus, etc... Took awhile for him to take his inventory upscale, so it was fun to see the beginning... i.e. ford taurus, dodge neon type listings with one token porsche

Plus its not like the guy was dealing with Neons and Civics before this. A FX, CLS 500, SLK, M convertable, etc. are not shitty cars.
I have a feeling the dealer got it cheap at an auction and F900 knows what he paid and thats why he is offereing him what he is. Just my guess.

By all means go ahead after all its only a click on a button. But just rememeber 2 things, any bid above 15K requires a credit card that has a high credit limit to show you have some financial means to pay. And any bid over 100K, you can expect either a phone call or an email asking for some sort of proof your serious.
You think high end car dealers are going to let just anyone place a bid just for the trill of it. After all this is ebay, but to them time is money and there not in the business on chasing some 16year old kid whos bidding on 100K they can not afford.
SO Srika LOL, go ahead with that "click of a button" its not as easy as you think.
Update dealer has been in contact with me, if i stay the highest bidder i might take of for a test drive over the weekend..
And ZtotallynakedZ your on the right track....
