LED Conversion Anyone?

Anyone do an LED conversion? If so, post pics.. picked these up the other day.

It looks awesome in person. This is just the driving lights. Turn signals and also reverse lights done.

It actually looks REALLY good in person. Completely stock looking which is what I was going for.

Those look beautiful! So did you actually crack open some stock taillights and convert them to LEDs or are they LED aftermarket tails?

synth sounds pretty defensive over these tails...maybe these tails might have gotten some negative reviews from the masses in the past = not a custom job. plus he said "picked these up." so are they custom or what?

anyway, looks pretty good. would be nicer if they werent so rectaliner. the simplicity gives me this weird, dated 80s knight rider feel.

I didn't do any of the work. I sent a set of tails to the vendor, and he did the labor and supplied the LED's. He charged $600 for everything. Same labor by Clear Corners.com is over $1,500!

what? Where am I sounding "defensive?" I need to carefully craft my text from now on. LOL... Haven't seen any negativity over this mod. A primary reason why ppl did not purchase these in the past because of the labor and cost. It is a huge night and day difference over OEM. I cannot see myself ever going back. There is another option of circular LED's (JGTC style), but they look too "aftermarket" and don't follow the same lines as OEM imo.

good choice - the circular ones would not be fitting at all - esp. with your boxy wing.

to be honest, between all the mods you got going on in the rear, you are going to leave a lot of ppl guessing when they approach you at dusk. "what is that?? an early 90s testarossa? what the f is that thing!?"

I saw someone at a local meet in my area have those LED conversion. He have a switch where you can change the LEDs in different pattern. Can be straight across, separate box or circular.

wow...more then I thought. They are charging $1,890 labor for the set (and YOU supply the tails for them to convert)!

Looks good... they remind me of the mid-80's Trans Am tails.

It's hopefully going wider soon, but stance will be the same. New rims will be at least 5mm more aggressive in rear, 3mm more aggressive in front.

looks very nice! Did you stick with the 02+ Tails with the orange circle or did you go with the older ones for the solid red look? NSX-S for the darker red?

have you done anything else besides the exhaust (I think it was the 5.1?) Maybe the Cantrell side scoop intake from SOS?
