Lease on Work Visa

Need some insight from people experienced with leases. My gf is here on a company sponsored Visa and has been for a few years. Her lease is up soon. While she is way under the mileage the vehicle had been hit and repaired a few times.

Her current lease was for 24 months and is due for return within a month, but her current Visa will expire before two years. She said it's a difficult situation when the Visa length is less than the standard 36 or 24 months.

In Northern New Jersey, what are some of the manufacturers / dealerships that will accommodate this this type of situation? Is it worth going to a lease broker? Any other suggestions?

My gf is also on a work visa. You should tell them that she plans on applying for permanent residency.

Not sure if they will care either way. My gf just bought a car and financed it for much longer duration than her current work visa. They didn't seem to care.

Take over someones lease, or let someone take over her lease before it's up

Where do you go to assume a lease? Should she contact her current lease company or is it through the dealer or someone placing an advertisement? I just don't know how often this type of situation would come about where it's a make and model she wants.

It's also not a concern that she won't get an extension to her work visa for a 2 year total period, but the leasing company may not allow her to get approved if the Visa doesn't have at least 2 years left on it.

There are a few websites out there that offer this:

Worlds Largest Lease Marketplace | Swapalease.com
https://www.leasetrader.com
https://leasequit.com/
https://leaseswapp.com/

I have looked at Swap A Lease before but you can probably find more info online as to which is the best, etc...

My only rec. with swapping leases is looking into the manufacturer's financial branch, and seeing how they handle those beforehand. There may be other stipulations involved beyond credit checks.
