Just Visited the Chicago Auto Show...
...thanks to the wonderful weather we've been having here in the East Coast, I got a chance to go by and check it out. Normally I go to the New York Auto Show, but once I saw this one, it truly blows it off the map. The McCormick Center is huge, and it seemed much nicer than the Javits Center, but of course Chicago has nothing on NYC!!
I saw some rides that I really liked, and some nice new concept cars. I enjoyed everything at Chevy, the SS Concept and all the new SS Trucks. Over at Ford I saw the new Mustang Concepts (verrry nice) and the 427 Concept, which actually looks better in person. The one car I was really impressed with was the new Volvo S60R...appearently it has 300hp and 295lb/ft of torque, with all wheel drive, and some pretty cool suspension systems. The one at the show was grey with an awesome natural leather interior...what do you guys think about this ride?
I also saw the new MB E55 AMG, which was a treat for me, as well as the new Audi RS6. They had a Maybach there, which was cool to see, and that thing is HUGE...too bad they didn't let us sit in it. I saw the new VW Touareg and Porsche Cayenne, both of which were o.k., nothing too special there. One car that really impressed me was the Infiniti FX45, at times I thought it was ugly, but looking at it in person (with the standard 20's), it was really hot, definitely something I'd like to drive! But I think that overall I was impressed with the Chevy SS Concept, and all of Ford's Concept cars...I'd love to see the SS out on the road some day!

You can say I like the S60R, I have a deposit down for one.
