Just seen a new M3!

Even though I'm not big on BMW's ya gotta like the M series. There was a brand new deep red M3 coupe sitting at Walgreens in Marco Island FL today. It looked phat jus sitting there but, I wont be satisfied till I see one launch from a light! I still dont think I could spend that much on it.... Still a nice car though.

Spend the equal amount on a S2000 and see how fast ya can go.... Please dont get me wrong I like the car but, for the money I can think of many other things to do. My fathers golfing buddy owns an M5 and it has to be one of the nicest, fastest cars I've driven yet... So I cant Imagine how phat the M3 would be to drive! Just alot of money for me to spend on a car for me thats all I was saying!

My experience with M5s http://www.fototime.com/inv/927BF1088B75260

BTW: the next M5 is set to come out as a 2004 model, with an F1 derived V-10 with 500-550hp. I hope I have enough money to afford one

I saw a silver Z8 in NC on I-26 on my way down to FL. It was jus a silver streak going down the other side of the highway though.

A local plastic surgeon has a silver Z8...see it all the time- looks completely boring an unimpressive in person. $130k+ for one of those, they can keep it.

The M3 is nice car and its well worth $50k (but not any $5-$10k over MSRP).

Are you serious? In my opinion, the Z8 is one of the most beautiful retro inspired designs out there.

I guess I can understand your reasoning since you're a Viper fan. Makes sense in that respect.

Its not a bad looking car, just boring- like a big fancy Z3....a few of my friends agree also (one has a TT 225Q, and the other a TypeR)- but then again, they don't like the Viper either .

A little off the subject but have any of you seen the Asyon Marton Vanquish?? Talk about drop dead looks....problem is it's $238,000. After that the BMW seems like a bargain.

Saw it in person at the NY Autoshow....to say its stunning is an understatement, that car sets the example (at least for me) for wanting to work away and have lots of $$$ to squander on expensive toys.

I don't know why anybody would by the Z8. I'd spend the extra $ and get a 360 or spend less and get a used 355 or save $20G's and get a new 911 turbo. All 3 of these cars are light years ahead in my choice of cars over the Z8.
