by what I think was a early 90's talon or something like that. It didn't have any badges, but it was a rusted out ugly piece of crap thats for sure. I thought I would blow his doors off.

I beat him off the line and stayed 1/2 car ahead until I dropped into 2nd. He was already well into 2nd and he caught me on the shift, I edged ahead again at the top of 2nd, then he burned me in 3rd (my 3rd, his 4th). I killed it at 90mph behind by a car length.

I shifted at 8900 with the pedal on the floor, and felt like I drove it pretty much perfectly. I didn't hear a turbo in his car, but then again he had a fart can exhaust and mines pretty loud too.

Either way, I need more power


btw I have stock 2002 s2000, and this was 6:45 am on an empty desert road.

Probably a Talon TSi, which I think was bascially a different body over a Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-X. They can be insanely quick.

 

Exactly it had to be a Talon TSi which is quite quick with any kind of mods that sucker is quick as hell. I've seen them at the street races destroy a few GS-Rs and even a TypeR.

a few years back we were in my buddies modded LS1 camaro when a POS geo storm pulled up next to us. It was yellow w/ little chrome hubcaps. He downshifted all we heard was a BOV and the turbo spool and by the time my buddy punched it the geo was like 3 cars ahead and kept pulling like crazy!!

It was fucking nutty

what kind of horsepower/torque would a turbod talon put down?

i remember my boy had a laser and it was pushing like 180 stock, i think he said the talon had 190 and the eclipse had 170...cant remember exactly

lol yeah there's a talon Tsi parked in may apartments parking lot, and at first glance you would think POS, but upon closer inspection you can see a turbo with HUGE IC and suspension, and his license plate holder says "all your base are belong to us" lol, I keep crackin up atthat, I want to race him some times just to see how fast that shit is.
