imagine waking up one morning and going to your car to go to work/school and you found your interior looking like the first pic!!

i would stay home for about a month, and not use any lights in the house and wear a black hood, and probably not shave either.

Damn Streeteffectz.... everytime I get over seeing your last install, and I convince myself I'm not going to do that to my car (when I get my new one), you post more pictures and make me drool all over again.

Sweet stuff, though!!

Hey street...

I noticed on the 6th picture you put (second to last in the series of pics)...

if you look towards the break pedal, above that there's a silver toggle switch... what's that for? is that a switch for navigation monitor to Video in? Just wondering...

and what's the story on the kit? is the new one up for sale or what? thanks

The silver toggle switch is for the navi screen to switch between it and video.

Pricing....it all depends on what brands we are talking about here. The one in that car is a pioneer pdv10 dvd player. It's about $475. Installed in the armrest is about $200, BUT, I extend the remote eye and on/off switch so the only thing you have to touch the dvd player for is to change dvd's. Tuners range anywhere from like $150 and up, depending upong features.

I never thought that the video dvd player was very practial. I didn't want it in my trunk because you could never get to it. And I did't want it in my glovebox because I use it too much. But now I think you might of sold me on it. How long did that install take? I live in maryland and I really can't drop off my car for a couple of days with you. Also do you have a webpage with anymore install pics?

My webpage will be up shortly with TONS of pics of installs. If you were really intereted in having this done, you can always ship me the headrest, armrest, or whatever and I can have them ready in advance....then you can come here and I can do the install in a day if you don't mind hanging out for 6 or so hours.

Actually, I did the headrests and dvd player in advance. Bihn dropped them off to me. But I only had the car for a day to do the whole install.

For those out of state, you can ship me your headrest, visors, armrests, whatever and I will install them and prewire them.

I can't get over how sweet your installs are, SE.

I wish I had the navi now, just so I could turn it into a DVD player.

Well that and some cash to afford all the parts and install.

-J

ps, seeing those first two pics I can't believe you can keep track of where all the parts go!
