Just bought an Acura Integra 1994! Have some problems.
Hey guys. I just bought myself an acura integra 1994 RS 5 speed as a second car, winter beater and delivery car.
I got it for 1000$, very cheap. It has rust here and there.
But the problem right now, the shift is VERY stiff, very hard to shift... the car was not being driven for 2 months. What could be the problem? The clutch is ok.. when its in gear, it goes fine.

Try topping off the tranny fluid. The linkage could also be slightly seized since the car sat there for a while.... by using it as a winter beater car I assume you live in a snowy area during fall/winter? Not too sure how Canada's climate works. If topping it off doesn't work, try draining it then filling it up again.... if it isn't black as coffee or have tons of metal shavings in it, then try getting a new shift linkage.
Great price though. Integras are the some of the best fun for your money cars you can get out there.

Check under the hood for stuff in the way of the shifter cables (Like a rodents nest). Maybe they need some lubrication? Can you work them back and forth for awhile to free them up any?

lol. I'll make the oil change and tranny oil change at the same time. The car has 270.000 km on it, but it was driven by an old guy.. Should i get the sycromesh from gm, redline or just the honda manual tranny oil?
Ill have to check the cable, see if i can squirt some oil on it :-)
O, btw, my first car is an 1997 Acura 2.2cl :P
i like the integra, very quick, but now the shift is ruinning everything

One of 2 things, but probably the 1st as some have said:
1. Drain and replace the tranny fluid
2. Loosen the shifter bearings a little, but this usually is an issue when someone has installed a new shifter, ie. short shifters.

Clutch master cyl is probably low on fluid or bad. It's a common problem on those cars. Join www.team-integra.net for an overwhelming out of info.

OP: Get the GM fluid it works really well, but as other said check out the clutch master and slave cylinders.

Yeah, chances are the linkage is seized... I can only imagine what being buried underneath two feet of snow for a few months would do to my car...
I used to have a 95 LS sedan and I used the Pennzoil Synchromesh. Its the same just minus the friction modifiers. It made the shifts like butter and it got rid of most of the grinds - still grinded a bit in reverse but less than before. I highly recommend it.
