That wing is too small. Need something MUCH larger to beat the civics, because...that won't create drag, or anything.

Thanks guys, not a major update but I got a punched shifter cap to match the wheel but it seems to be more of a grey than black. I’m hoping it gets a bit darker but we shall see

Looks good, but from that shot, it does look a bit lighter than the object (palm rest?) behind it. Given there's no other leather there & it's a pretty good match to the CF & wood trim, maybe the same sort of cover for the other part?

Edit: I'm guessing that's the old cover
Move along.

HAHA I almost wrote it out and thought nah The new cap looks perfect until you see it against the old so I'm torn.

Just leave it and let it wear in. As you use it, it'll darken up from the oils in your hand. If you want to darken it more now, hit it with some leather conditioner. If you want to darken it a lot, look into some heavier duty boot leather conditioner.

True, over time & a lot of top-down driving, I'm sure the other black parts of the interior & that new bit will slowly converge in tone/wear.

My wife has some tall boots but does she have a horse 🤔

I’ll steal her conditioner, thanks!

I would stick with 034...they are doing big things and given Adam's experience and their willingness to help him troubleshoot...

Swapped the Audi rings for black and while I was going to put a black S5 logo on, not sure I’m feeling the black.

Added an auto hold so I can take my foot off the brake at lights. Driving a manual and my wife’s car has taught me to do this and for some reason, VW and Audi Europe got this but Audi US gets a blank.

Today is 3 months since I ordered my RS grill but still waiting

literally the same narrative I had with myself on the volcano...
ended up putting the chrome badges back on. I like the contrast.

Funny you mention that, the carbon valances are a bit too aggressive for me but I saw someone painted it black and I thought it flowed better as well. I'd love to get black exhaust tips but since they are welded on, I put it on the back burner.

I prefer the chrome with all the other chrome/grey/aluminum pieces.

Unless you want the car to look like a rolling bruise

I mostly meant just the chrome strip on the valence, maybe the silver part too if it still clashes with the black.

It's brushed alum look, not chrome IIRC.
I have the same combination of shit on mine and
it's a fine art to find the balance that looks good.
that was why I pulled the gloss black diffuser on the S4
it looked like it just made the space look empty...I like the
contrast of the grey with the silver across it.

Comparing it to the exhaust, it does look more brushed than chrome.
In that case, I'd be more ok with it. Had I kept the Merc, all the chrome would've eventually been dealt with. Luckily, it blended with the Iridium Silver pretty well.

The trim on mine has turned this goldish color...which I love.

Yeah, the surround for the bottom of the top, the side emblems, mirrors, windshield surround, rear strip, and front strip are brushed while the exhaust tips and emblems are chrome. In my mind, I was going to get rid of all the chrome but leave the brushed but now I don’t know.
