Talking Invited to Car and Driver test session

Got invited via mail today to a Car and Driver sponsored car test day, anyone been to one of these before? Get to go test drive Lexus, Caddy, and BMW through some auto-x courses for a couple hours Very interested to see how my 'new' TL-S compares to these other cars (guessing BMW 530, Caddy CTS, Lexus IS). Won't be able to take my car on the course, but I figure I can get a good feel for overall handling capabilities of the other cars in the couple hours I'll have to drive them. No matter what though pretty psyched to go drive nice new cars in a makeshift racecourse.

If anyone has been to one of these, let me know what you thought. I'm very curious and can find very limited info on the web about this.

Went to one at El Toro that had BMW, Subaru & Volvo. It was nicely organized and was less crowded than other drive events I have been to.
It will be run by C&D, but is sponsored by one of the brands you will drive. Refreshments not as nice as Taste of Lexus, but decent seat time.
Have fun.

I went to one with Caddy's and BMWs. We compared the 530i and STS, and the M3 and CTS-V. It was really fun, but I you don't get to drive a lot.

Nah, you only have to be 21. I'm set for the day! Even if I only drive a couple laps in each, it should still be a real fun experience.

Moving into the converted mills in 2 weeks or so. Velvet Mills is the name of the place. Its right off 384.

I'm sure there are a bunch of TL owners in the Hartford area that would be willing to meet up for an afternoon. I'd like to see some a TL with headers etc, see if its something i'd like to put the money into.

This was the first I'd ever heard of this type of event. I was lucky enough to be randomly selected somehow due to my magazine membership (Road and Track). Apparently these events take place all over the US, I don't know how else you'd find out about them though. I was given a specific website to go to and fill out forms.

They usually give you a link to register. What's the site?
